This series will culminate in Easter Vigil with the Rt. Rev. Jim Curry at St. Mary's, Manchester on April 7th at 7:30 pm.
We are hosting the first night, so if you can help by making soup or bringing bread, see Virginia. We will carpool together to the other sites. A sign up sheet will placed in the narthex mid-February. This will be a great chance to meet other Episcopalians in our journey of faith and Lenten seeking and to learn more about and prayerfully discuss our baptismal promises, the foundation of our experience and expression of the faith of our church.
It became clear during the recent storm that our communication methods rely entirely on electricity. Internet access and landline phones were unavailable to nearly all of us. We would like to collect as many cell phone numbers from all of you as possible, so that we can be in closer touch in the next emergency. With winter nearly upon us, the Vestry requested that we earnestly try to collect cell phone numbers from all of you over the next several weeks. Please email yours to us or write it on the sheet that is at the back of the church on the table.
St. John’s is a safe haven and sanctuary for all who come to us seeking the comfort and care of God, the truth of His holy gospel and the faith we proclaim in Christ Jesus. Learn More
